ABOUT
April Brown

April Brown (M.Ed) is the Learning and Development Manager at Educator Forever and a curriculum coach for Educator Forever's curriculum programs. As a former teacher with a background in special education and psychology, April taught and held leadership positions in mainstream and alternative settings spanning PK-8th grade in the United States and internationally before diving head first into the world of flexible work in education.
In 2015, April took on a part-time gig designing curriculum and writing education articles for an ed-tech company while she was teaching in Belize. After her daughter was born in 2016, she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her and found the Beyond the Classroom course. Since then, April has worked as a curriculum developer, virtual instructional coach, adjunct instructor for mindfulness and trauma informed courses, education/parenting writer, and wellness circle facilitator. With everything she does, April stays committed to her advocacy for teachers and children. April's favorite part of being in the Educator Forever Network is facilitating wellness circles and network calls and supporting members as they reimagine what it means to be an educator beyond the classroom.
Allison Williams

Allison is a business mentor in Educator Forever's Education Business Foundations Program where she enjoys helping other entrepreneurs grow their own education businesses. As the founder and lead instructor of Tutor Tots Online, she is at the forefront of virtual education, specializing in creating engaging learning experiences for early learners and homeschoolers. Allison’s dedication to this craft was sparked during a pivotal shift in the pandemic when she discovered a newfound passion for virtual teaching.
Allison lives by the idea that learning should be as enjoyable as it is educational—a philosophy that shines through her work and resonates with her students. Based in Atlanta, she balances her professional endeavors with personal joys, including playing tennis, attending concerts and plays, and spending time with family.

Mandy is Educator Forever’s Editorial Manager and also serves as a curriculum coach to support educators Mandy has created content for various ed tech and educational publishing companies, and she brings robust expertise in standards alignment, teaching best practices, and inquiry learning. With a keen eye for detail, Mandy brings her passion for logistics and planning to the Educator Forever Agency team.
Blair Petersen

Blair is the Marketing Manager for Educator Forever and holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Arts in Education. She taught at the elementary level for 9 years. Blair enjoys being able to utilize her passion for education and love for writing and design to support Educator Forever’s meaningful work. She also enjoys connecting educators with job opportunities and supporting educators in the Education Writing Foundations Program.
