Changemaker Education supports families and founders in launching personalized microschools rooted in whole-child development. Their Mind-Body-Soul (MBS) framework emphasizes holistic development, prioritizing learner autonomy while honoring academic rigor. They needed a structured K–5 curriculum that could bring that philosophy to life across their growing network of partner schools.

Educator Forever partnered with Changemaker Education to design a flexible, founder-friendly curriculum that honors learner autonomy while giving microschool educators a clear instructional roadmap.

The Challenge

Changemaker Education's microschool founders come from diverse backgrounds — homeschooling parents, former educators, community leaders — each committed to learner-centered education but varying levels of curriculum design experience.

  • Changemaker Education needed a partner who could design something structured enough to be useful on day one.

  • They also needed the curriculum to be flexible enough to honor the MBS framework, each founder's teaching style, and each student's individual learning journey across the network.

The Solution

Educator Forever assembled a team of four former elementary educators with experience in project-based, multi-age, and self-directed learning environments to co-design the microschool curriculum.

Results

The completed curriculum gives Changemaker Education's microschool founders the confidence to launch and lead meaningful learning experiences from day one. By balancing structure with flexibility, the curriculum establishes a shared foundation across the network while allowing educators to adapt lessons to their students, communities, and teaching styles.
