Have a Better Back-to-School with the Educator Forever Network
Facing a new school year with doubts about your future in teaching? Explore the Educator Forever Network’s unique back-to-school support for teachers.
If you’re anything like me, the shift from summer into fall always carries a mix of emotions. There’s the familiar rhythm of back-to-school season—familiar routines, connecting with colleagues, and the buzz of possibility. But for many teachers around the world, fall also brings a weight of long hours, unrealistic expectations, barriers to creating learning experiences and environments that honor our students' needs, and the reminder that burnout is real. It’s a season where excitement and exhaustion often walk hand in hand.
This year, what if fall looked different? What if you had unique back-to-school resources for teachers that not only helped you in the classroom, but helped you move your career forward, too?
Instead of stepping into the season alone, imagine beginning the school year with a community of educators who see you, support you, and walk alongside you—whether you’re teaching full-time, exploring part-time opportunities, or taking bold steps to reimagine what it means to be an educator.
We created the Educator Forever Network for exactly that reason: to remind educators that the skills, creativity, and expertise we’ve honed in the classroom can open up endless possibilities beyond it.
Fall can be more than a return to “the norm.” It can be a season of clarity and connection–the start of building a sustainable career that aligns with your values and your life. The Educator Forever Network offers the tools, mindset shifts, and community to help you make that vision a reality.
Joining our community just may be one of the best back-to-school tips for teachers you’ll ever receive. Here are three reasons to join us today!
Why Join the Educator Forever Network?
A Community That Gets You
Whether you’re just starting to explore flexible work in education or have been thriving in remote or flexible roles for years, one thing remains true: connection matters. Surrounding yourself with educators who share your vision and passion for reimagining education creates the foundation for growth and resilience.
When innovative educators come together, we become more than individuals on our own paths. We become a collective force, united in making a lasting impact on the field of education. This shared vision nurtures belonging, strengthens unity, and reminds us that we don’t have to face challenges alone.
Flexible Support for Every Season
As teachers, we know that flexibility is key. Educator Forever Network members share the belief that support should fit seamlessly into your life instead of feeling like a chore or extra to-do. That’s why the Educator Forever Network is loved by so many!
This is one of the reasons we like to think of the Network as one of the best back-to-school resources for teachers. Our customizable programming–including live weekly mindset and skill-based calls, a robust library of workshops and trainings, coworking for accountability, guest expert workshops of educators driving change in the field, and monthly wellness circles facilitated by a Trauma-Informed Peer Support facilitator– ensure you’re taking care of yourself and getting intentional about your growth during the busy fall season. Learn more about our customizable and supportive offerings here.
Here’s an example of a customized Educator Forever Network member’s schedule:
Monday – Attend a live Monday session all about working through imposter syndrome (or catch a recording) to connect with others and learn to embrace your expertise, even during chaotic back-to-school weeks.
Tuesday – Hop on a coworking session in the evening to work on revamping your resume or cover letter so you can apply for an instructional coaching position you’ve been eyeing. Peruse the job board on Slack for more instructional coach job descriptions.
Thursday – Dedicate 30 minutes to exploring the Beyond the Classroom course in Kajabi to reflect on how to position your skills as an educator to redefine yourself as an instructional coach.
Sunday – Attend the wellness circle to decompress from the week and partake in gentle somatic exercises and resilience activities.
The 4 C’s: Clarity, Confidence, Community, Commitment
One of the most effective (and supportive) parts of the Educator Forever Network is the 4 C framework that guides our programming. Through our mindset and skill-based workshops and sessions, and the Beyond the Classroom course, the Educator Forever team coaches educators using the 4 C framework–Clarity, Confidence, Community, and Commitment.
This framework continues to be a center point of growth and success for those exploring paths beyond the classroom.
Clarity: Discovering your next steps after leaving teaching starts with gaining clarity. To get clarity about your future, reflect on the experiences, interests, desires, and passions that have shaped you as an educator. It’s also important to take time to heal from past challenges (and a toxic education system) and reflect on your purpose and future goals.
Confidence: Embracing and confidently stepping into your expertise as an educator is essential. Recognize the wide range of transferable skills, strengths, and experiences that you’ve developed as a teacher that can be applied to various career paths. Your experience as a teacher is valuable and in demand. By reflecting on your strengths and skills, you’ll be able to leverage this expertise and own your worth.
Community: As mentioned above, a supportive network of like-minded educators and experts who are also exploring careers in education other than teaching can help you gain insight, build connections, and find the encouragement needed to pursue your dreams. Having a powerful network like the Educator Forever Network can also lead to partnerships, collaborations, exciting opportunities, and visibility within the education sector.
Commitment: Staying the course as you reimagine your role as an educator involves a commitment to take intentional steps toward your goals. Transitioning to new careers for teachers is a journey that requires dedication and a willingness to learn. By taking action, continuously learning, and having a growth mindset, you’ll unlock your full potential. With your commitment to growth, you can reimagine, reinvent, and revolutionize both the landscape of education and your reality!
